# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It comes together faster than most takeout orders arrive, and tastes infinitely fresher.
  • Every bite has texture contrast, the creamy hummus against the crisp spinach and the salty bite of feta.
  • You can make it with whatever vegetables are lurking in your crisper drawer without guilt or planning.
  • It travels beautifully, which means you can wrap it up and actually enjoy lunch away from your desk.
02 -
  • Don't overfill the tortilla or it will split when you try to roll it, I learned this the messy way.
  • Pat the roasted red peppers dry with a paper towel before adding them, or the whole wrap will get slippery.
  • If your tortilla cracks, it's too cold, a few seconds of warmth makes all the difference.
03 -
  • Warm your tortillas for just a few seconds before rolling to prevent cracks and make them more pliable.
  • Use a serrated knife to slice the wrap cleanly without squishing the filling out the sides.
  • If you're meal prepping, keep the components separate and assemble right before eating for maximum freshness.
